Esophageal pH (acid) testing is the measurement of esophageal acid content.  You will wear a recording device for 2 days.  You can resume your normal diet and activities.  After 2 days, you bring the equipment back, and the information will be transferred into a special computer.  Later, the study will be reviewed by your physician.
