Colon Polyp

Colonoscopy is the examination of the colon with a video colonoscope.  If any problems are found, our physicians can take a tissue sample (a biopsy) or even remove the problem (ie. colon polyp removal).  You will be given intravenous medications for sedation and for your comfort.
